This is a required course that provides students the opportunity to learn and participate in a variety of physical activities. Activities include team & individual sports as well as activities that develop physical fitness.
HEALTH

This is a required course that focuses on the combination of physical, mental/emotional and social well-being. This class provides a variety of opportunities for students to build important health skills. Most importantly, this class will empower students to make choices that promote health and wellness for themselves and others.
WEIGHTLIFTING

Students in Weightlifting will daily work on an individual personal fitness plan. Students will be involved in a high level of physical activity while working on their personal fitness plan in the fitness center. This class will meet in the fitness center four days per week and will also include team sports for general conditioning during the days not spent in the fitness center.

This course is designed for students who have an interest in becoming licensed sport officials. Students will learn the skills and concepts needed to become a licensed official. Each semester students will have the opportunity to become licensed in up to two sports. In addition, students who complete the coursework and pass the officiating test will be eligible to have their officiating application fees waived through OHSAA. This course is offered utilizing the RefReps curriculum.
